Palestinians injured in clashes with Israeli forces
A number of Palestinians were wounded by bullet fire unleashed by the Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday in Aqbat Jabr refugee camp, southwest of the occupied West Bank city of Jericho, according to Palestinian news sources.
Wafa News Agency quoted Ayyub al-A’asi, an activist from the refugee camp, as stating that Israeli forces raided the area during the early morning hours and ransacked Palestinian homes.
The soldiers fired rubber-coated steel bullets at Palestinians taking refuge in the camp, injuring six youths. One young man was hit over the eye and a second in the leg. They were moved to Jericho hospital, while the four others were treated at the location.
According to the same source, the soldiers also fired teargas into the camp causing dozens of suffocation cases.
