AGPS has documented the death of 4,013 Palestinian refugees from Syria, including hundreds of women and children, since 2011, as a result of war-related incidents.

Dozens of Palestinian refugees from Syria have been pronounced in 2019 due to war-related incidents, despite the relative calm characterizing the Syrian territories compared to previous years, human rights data has revealed.

The London-based Action Group for Palestinians of Syria (AGPS) has documented the death of 70 Palestinian refugees from Syria in 2019, down from 276 in 2018.

The list includes 50 civilians, among them three women and eight children, according to AGPS.

The group added that 29 Palestinian refugees died under torture in Syrian government prisons and 17 died under shelling in 2019.

Another 10 Palestinians were killed in AlNeirab refugee camp after mortar shells fell on the camp in May 2019. 16 people were killed by gunfire and three refugees were killed in blasts. Two more Palestinians were assassinated and three other persons died on the migration route.

Scores of Palestinian refugees have also been left wounded, including dozens who have undergone limp amputation or eye loss.
