Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Waleed Bukhari, on Thursday welcomed at the Embassy in Beirut, the Director General of UNRWA Affairs in Lebanon, Claudio Cordone, Saudi sources have reported.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Saudi Ambassador and the UNRWA official discussed most recent developments on the regional and international arena.

Discussions also reportedly touched on the Saudi Kingdom’s efforts to alleviate the sufferings of the Palestinian people at all levels.

No further details were provided by the official Saudi news agency on the meeting.
