Activists Warn of Increasing Assassination Attempts Targeting Palestinian Refugees South of Syria

Tension has running High in AlMuzeireeb’s community, south of Syria, where dozens of Palestinian families have sought shelter, following reports of fresh assassination attempts targeting Palestinian refugees in the area.

According to local sources, unidentified assailants opened fire at Samir Aref Khalaf AlMesri, nicknamed Samir AlWarda, and Kasem Mohamed Abdul Karim AlSubeihi, nicknamed AlJam. The two targeted man are members of the Fourth Division security branch.

Palestinians taking shelter in AlMuzeireeb town and Khan Eshieh camp continue to express deep concern over the security situation in the area as reports have increasingly emerged on new assassination attempts targeting Palestinian refugees.
