COVID-19 Takes Away Lives of 42 Palestinians Abroad

The novel coronavirus pandemic has claimed so far the lives of 42 Palestinians living abroad and infected 956 others, reported the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Monday.

According to the Ministry, the highest number of deaths and infected cases is recorded among Palestinians in America, with 29 deaths and over 570 confirmed cases, after 14 new cases were reported in the states of Michigan, Ohio, and New Jersey.

A total of 235 Palestinian patients have recovered from the virus worldwide so far.

Up to now, 2,496,518people have tested positive for COVID-19 worldwide. The death toll stands at 171,235.
