Two Palestinians living abroad succumbed late on Monday to the novel coronavirus COVID-19, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates reported on Tuesday.
In a statement, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said that Palestinian expatriate Khalil Ibrahim al-Saghir died in Brazil while the other victim, Imad al-Hassan, 48, was pronounced dead in the UAE.
Ministry data indicates that so far, 60 Palestinians abroad have died of coronavirus and 1,097 others contracted the virus.
