991 native Palestinians in Palestinian territories occupied since 1948 (present-day Israel) have tested positive for the novel coronavirus COVID-19  ever since the outbreak of the pandemic in Israel in February.

The emergency committee in charge of monitoring the coronavirus crisis in the native Arab communities in Israel was quoted by Wafa News Agency as stating that 148 active cases are in the town of Deir al-Asad, 103 in the town of Hura, 19 in Majd al-Krum, 79 in Um al-Fahm, 57 in Rahat, 49 in Tayibe, 43 in Jisr az-Zarqa, 34 in Bi'ina, and 32 in Daburiyya.

To date, 16,268 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Israel, according to the World Meters info site. 10,223 patients have recovered and 237 others have succumbed to the virus.
