So far, the coronavirus pandemic has claimed the lives of 45 Palestinian expatriates in the United States, reported the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

A couple of days ago, an Palestinian man identified as Azzam Albou, 58, from Chicago, has died of coronavirus making him the 45th Palestinian victim of COVID-19 in the US.

The death toll among the Palestinians abroad stands at 69, according to the Ministry’s database.

So far, 3,833,547 people have contracted the virus worldwide and 265,210 others succumbed to the fatal disease. There are 1,306,345 recovered patients.
