98 Palestinians Succumb to Coronavirus Abroad

98 Palestinian refugees living abroad have died of the novel coronavirus COVID-19, reported the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

A Palestinian living in Saudi Arabia was pronounced dead a couple of days ealier after he contracted COVID-19, according to the Ministry.

The Ministry’s database indicates that most of the deaths were reported in the US, with 52 reported fatalities. At least five new cases were confirmed in the United States and another in Mauritania.

At the same time, 810 Palestinians in the diaspora have recovered from the highly infectious disease.

So far, coronavirus took away the lives of 357,712 people worldwide. 5,803,658 people contracted the virus.
