The number of confirmed coronavirus cases among Palestinians abroad has gone up to 2,509 while the death toll stands at 160, reported the Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry on Sunday.
It said 91 more Palestinians tested positive for the virus in the US, bringing the total confirmed cases among Palestinian expatriates in that country to 1,121 and the death toll to 63.
Among the 91 new cases new in the US, 80 contracted the virus after attending a wedding party in Chicago. 11 others were recorded in Dallas and Michigan.
According to the ministries database, 1,354 Palestinians have recovered from the virus in foreign countries.
