Two members of the Palestinian community in Iraq have died of coronavirus, raising the total deaths among diaspora Palestinians to 175, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

Wafa news agency quoted the Ministry as stating that the total number of corona cases among Palestinians in the diaspora stands at 3,469. 1,476 Palestinians have recovered.

A total of six Palestinians in Iraq have died of coronavirus so far. With 20 new cases among the Palestinians recorded yesterday, the total number reached 60 in that country with 10 patients recovered, said the Ministry.

Seven new corona cases among Palestinians in the United States were recorded yesterday, it added, raising the total there to 1,905 while the number of fatalities among the Palestinian community in the US stood at 64.

Three new cases were also recorded in Brazil, raising the total there to 51 and three deaths.

One other new case among Palestinians was recorded in South Africa, said the Ministry.
