107 More Palestinians Contract Coronavirus Abroad, 2 Deaths

107 Palestinian refugees have been infected with the novel coronavirus abroad and two others have been pronounced dead, reported the Palestinian Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry on Wednesday

The ministry said in a statement that 102 Palestinians tested positive for COVID-19 in Qatar and five others in the US, raising the total confirmed cases among Palestinians in the two countries to 2,222 and 819 respectively.

Meanwhile, the ministry announced that a 76-year-old Palestinian in Saudi Arabia died of the virus, raising the total death toll among Palestinians in the Gulf country to 59.

It added that another Palestinian, aged 71, succumbed to the virus in Algeria, raising the total Palestinian death toll in the country to six.
