Coronavirus Death Toll among Palestinians Abroad Hits 209

The number of Palestinians who succumbed to the novel coronavirus abroad has reached 209, according to updated statistics from the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

The Ministry said that an elderly Palestinian man in Saudi Arabia died on Sunday after he contracted COVID-19.

The victim was identified as Mohammed Ahmad Jasser, 83.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases among Palestinians in the diaspora has reached 4,105 so far.

According to the most recent coronavirus statistics, there are 20,026,186 coronavirus cases worldwide. The death toll stands at 734,020.
