COVID-19 Claims Lives of 233 Palestinians Abroad

Three Palestinians in Saudi Arabia died on Tuesday of coronavirus, raising the number of COVID-19 fatalities among Palestinian communities abroad to 233, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

The Foreign Affairs Ministry said that Palestinian refugees Abdel Aziz Suleiman Ahmad Barakeh, Adnan Mahmoud Salem Shabbir, and Khadija Mohammed Ghorab, ages 83, 54, and 91, respectively, have died of the disease in Saudi Arabia.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases among Palestinians in the diaspora has reached 5,612 so far, according to the ministry’s database.
