Israeli special unit " Mistaravim " kidnapped a young man near the Shu’afat camp checkpoint, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, on Monday, according to Palestinian sources.

Eyewitnesses reported that a group of Mistaravim raided the Shu’afat camp, chased a young man whose identity was not yet known and arrested him from inside a cafeteria near the checkpoint.

The Mistaravim are secret and private security units affiliated with the Israeli occupation police and they are given many titles including death squads.

Mistaravim members participate in Palestinian protests, wearing plain clothes and kofias and speak Arabic but soon they turn against the protesters and arrest some of them.
