2 More Palestinians Succumb to COVID-10 Abroad, Death Toll Hits 269

Two Palestinians living abroad have died of the novel Coronavirus disease, bringing the total corona-related death toll among Palestinian communities abroad to 269, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said earlier this week.

In a press statement, the Foreign Ministry said that that a 40-year-old Palestinian man died of the highly contagious virus in the United States, bringing the number of COVID-19 victims among Palestinians living in the US to 79.

So far, 3,887 coronavirus cases have been confirmed among Palestinian expatriates in the US.

Another Palestinian man, aged 37, also died of COVID-19 in Saudi Arabia, where a total of 92 Palestinians succumbed to the disease, according to the ministry’s database.

Ministry data indicates that as many as 6,470 have contracted the novel coronavirus abroad.
