Israeli occupation forces issued on Wednesday demolition orders against several Palestinian houses in the occupied East Jerusalem neighborhood of al-Isawiyya, and took pictures of others, according to local sources.
Local activist Mohammed Abu al-Hummus told WAFA news agency that Israeli occupation forces stormed the neighborhood in the early hours and handed several Palestinian households demolition notices against their homes under the pretext that they were built without a permit.
He said that occupation forces also took over the rooftop of several houses and took pictures of the homes and buildings in the neighborhood, which is usually a prelude to demolishing them.
Local Palestinian inhabitants of the area have expressed concerns that their families will go homeless as Israeli forces are slated to reduce their houses into rubble in the next few weeks.
