So far, 306 Palestinians living abroad have died of COVID-19 and a total of 7,334 have contracted the disease worldwide since the outbreak of the pandemic, reported the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
According to the Ministry’s latest statistics, a Palestinian woman died of the disease in Turkey, raising the total death toll among the Palestinian community in Turkey to five.
The ministry also said that 200 new coronavirus cases were recorded among Palestinians in Italy, in addition to 21 new cases in the US.
According to the most recent coronavirus updates, the disease claimed the lives of 1,416,050 people worldwide. The number of confirmed cases stands at 60,164,498. Recoveries are estimated at 41,617,741 cases.
