The Israeli military on Wednesday demolished a two-story Palestinian-building in the southern West Bank city of AlKhalil while it was in the final stages of construction, according to the house owner.
Palestinian citizen Osama Idris told WAFA news agency that a large Israeli army unit accompanied a bulldozer to southern AlKhalil and demolished his house under the pretext of unlicensed construction.
He said the 260-square-meter building was demolished even though he had papers proving ownership of the land where it was being built and that a court hearing was in the process against the demolition order.
