2 More Palestinians Succumb to COVID-19 Abroad

57 new Covid-19 cases and two new deaths have been reported among Palestinians in the diaspora, according to the Palestinian Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry.

A Thursday update by the Foreign Ministry pointed out that a 63-year-old Palestinian man and a 68-year-old Palestinian woman died of the novel coronavirus in Saudi Arabia, bringing the death toll among Palestinians in the country to 106.

The Ministry also said that 51 more Palestinians tested positive for the highly contagious virus in Chicago, New York and New Jersey, brining the number of confirmed coronavirus cases among Palestinians in the country to 4,571.

At the same time, three Palestinians contracted COVID-19 in Italy, where 203 Palestinians have tested positive for the virus.

The Ministry added that three new Covid-19 cases were reported in Spain, raising the total confirmed cases among Palestinians in the country to 39.

According to the latest coronavirus data, the confirmed cases among the Palestinian diaspora has reached 7,454. The death toll stands at 309.
