Israeli occupation demolished on Monday a Palestinian house in the town of al-Khader, to the south of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem.
Local activist Ahmad Salah told WAFA news agency that Israeli forces raided the town and blocked civilians’ access out of and into the area, sortly before a bulldozer proceeded to tear down a 200-square-meter house under the pretext that it was built without a permit.
He said that the area where the house was built is the only space left for the town to expand and accommodate its growing population. The Israeli occupation authorities continue to target Palestinian structures in the area for its settlement activities.
