Another 258 Palestinians living in foreign countries have tested positive for the novel coronavirus Covid-19, bringing the total confirmed cases among Palestinian expatriates to over 7,000, reported the Palestinian Foreign Affairs Expatriates Ministry on Thursday night.

The Ministry announced in a press statement that 258 Palestinians in the United States of America contracted the highly contagious virus, bringing the total confirmed cases among Palestinians in the US to 4,981. The death toll among them stands at 94.

According to the latest coronavirus data by the Ministry, the confirmed cases among the Palestinian diaspora has hit 7,894, while the death toll is estimated at 320.
