Two members of the Palestinian community in the United States have died of coronavirus and 35 new cases were recorded in the country, reported the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

The ministry said in a statement that one the two Palestinian victims is a 22 year-old young men.

According to the ministry’s database, 96 Palestinian refugees died of coronavirus in the US, among a total of 324 Palestinians who succumbed to the disease in foreign countries.

So far, 8,036 Palestinians have tested positive for coronavirus abroad, including  5,113 in the US.
