341 Palestinians Succumb to Coronavirus Abroad

The number of coronavirus victims among Palestinian communities abroad has hit 341, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that an elderly Palestinian woman died on Monday of coronavirus in Turkey. She was identified as Nadia al-Hamidi, 60.

So far, COVID-19 claimed the lives of 14 Palestinian refugees in Turkey.

The ministry recorded 27 new cases of Covid-19 among Palestinians in the US, in addition to three new cases in the United Kingdom.

A total of 8,849 Palestinians have tested positive for coronavirus in the diaspora, said the ministry.
