18 Palestinians Contract Coronavirus in Diaspora

18 new COVID-19 cases and one death have been recorded among Palestinian refugee communities abroad, reported the Palestinian Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry on Saturday.

The Foreign Ministry said in a press statement that 18 Palestinians in the US contracted the virus, bringing the total confirmed cases among Palestinians in the US to 6,275.

At the same time, the virus claimed the life of a Palestinian refugee in the US, where the death toll has hit 113.

According to the ministry’s database, 9,236 Palestinians have contracted the virus abroad. The death toll stands at 355.
