Three Palestinian refugees have died of the novel coronavirus in Qatar, bringing the death toll among Palestinian communities abroad to 388, reported the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
In a Saturday statement, the Foreign Ministry identified the three victims as 82-year-old Mohammed Yaqoub Ismail Abdallah Hannan, 81-year-old Khalil Mohammed Ali Al-Bardini, and 74-year-old Hanan Adeeb Ahmad Abu ‘Asi.
So far, 14 Palestinians have succumbed to the disease in the Arab Gulf country.
The Ministry’s database indicates that 13,310 Palestinians have contracted the virus in foreign countries since the outbreak of the pandemic.
