Palestinian detainee Omar Sherif Khanfar was released by the Israeli occupation authorities after he has been kept for 19 years behind prison bars.

Omar was released from the Negev desert prison.

Nearly 4,450 Palestinians have been locked up in Israeli prisons across the occupied Palestinian territories, among them 37 women, 140 minors, and 440 administrative detainees, imprisoned with neither charge nor trial.
