Israeli authorities Tuesday demolished a Palestinian-owned house in the area of Wadi al-Hummos in the village of Sur Baher, southeast of the occupied city of Jerusalem, according to security sources.
Security sources told WAFA news agency that a unit of Israeli forces was accompanied by large bulldozers as they raided the aforementioned area, located near Bethlehem’s Murad resort, closed it off and demolished a three-story house owned by local resident Ayman al-Heih.
Two years ago, Israeli authorities demolished 11 buildings including 77 residential apartments in Wadi al-Hummos, most of which are built in areas classified as Area C, which are completely under the sovereignty of the Palestinian Authority.
