All of the Palestinian nationals and students in Ukraine wishing to leave the embattled country have successfully been evacuated, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said on Sunday.
Political adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ahmad al-Deek, said, in a statement quoted by WAFA news agency, that the four crisis cells of the Ministry have been thoroughly following up on the situation of the Palestinian nationals who preferred to stay in Ukraine following the outbreak of the war to ensure their safety.
He added that the embassies of the State of Palestine to Minsk and Moscow are also following up the situation of the Palestinian students in Ukraine.
Two weeks ago, the Foreign Ministry said it had formed four crisis cells to ensure the safety of the Palestinian community and students in the war-hit country and to ensure a safe way out for those wishing to leave.
