The Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem on Tuesday demolished a Palestinian events hall in Isawiyya neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem under the pretext of construction without a permit.

Palestinian news agency WAFA said Israeli police cordoned off the entrance of the neighborhood, where the hall is located, as the municipality bulldozer proceeded to knock down the metal roof and walls of al-Salam Hall.
