The Israeli army demolished on Monday morning three Palestinian buildings in the village of Elmenia, south of the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem.

Head of Elmenia village council Zayed Kawzbeh said the demolition was carried out under the pretext of unlicensed construction.

He told WAFA news agency that soldiers raided the village and demolished the three buildings, each three stories high and owned by a member of his extended family.
