Israeli forces obstructed Palestinian children’s access to their schools in the village of Tuqu', southeast of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem.

Mousa al-Sha'er, head of the Tuqu municipality, was quoted by Palestinian news agency WAFA as saying that the Israeli forces obstructed schools from reaching their schools after preventing them from taking the main bypass road that leads to the schools.

He added that the soldiers forced the students to take a rock-strewn road.

Students in that area are frequently subjected to several violations by Israeli forces, which include firing gas and sound bombs during school shifts and arbitrary arrests.
