A Palestinian resident of the town of Idna, west of the southern West Bank city of AlKhalil, was ordered by the Israeli military government to demolish his home within eight days.

Local sources told WAFA news agency that Mohammad Hasan Awwad was ordered to demolish his 130-square-meter home under the pretext of construction without a permit.

The house is reportedly located in Area C of the town, which is under full Israeli military rule and where building permits are never issued for Palestinians despite the fact that Area C makes up more than 60 percent of the area of the occupied West Bank.
