Israeli occupation forces on Monday morning threatened the demolition of two houses sheltering Palestinian families in the northern occupied West Bank city of Nablus.

Local sources said Israeli military forces raided Nablus city and took the measurements of the targeted houses, owned by Palestinian citizens Osama Tawil and Abed Kamel Jury.

Osama and Abed have been accused by Israel of carrying out anti-occupation shooting attacks that resulted in the death of a soldier near the illegal colonial settlement of Shavei Shomron in October last year.

At the same time, the heavily-armed soldiers opened live fire at young man protesting the raid. A Palestinian was hit by a live round in the right foot while more than 20 others choked on tear gas.
