Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday greenlighted the confiscation of Palestinian land lots in Ni'lin village, west of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.
According to the Commission against the Wall and Settlements, 20 donums of Palestinian lands will be seized by Israeli occupation forces to expand a military zone in the area.
The order is operational until December 27th, 2027.
Land expropriation in the occupied West Bank is frequently practiced by Israel in favor of illegal settlement expansion. Israel has issued hundreds of military seizure orders to that purpose.
The mechanisms by which Israel seizes or expropriates West Bank land are set forth in detailed works by human rights watchdogs, namely B'Tselem. Such a practice aiming at the creation of illegal Israeli outposts contravenes international law and relevant UN resolutions.
