The Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday notified the demolition of a number of Palestinian homes and a school in the village of Ma’een in Masafer Yatta, south of the southern occupied West Bank city of AlKhalil.

Israeli forces raided the village and notified a local resident of the demolition of his home, which provides shelter to a family of nine people.

The forces also notified to stop work in the Ma’een Secondary School for Girls and in the 150-square-meter home of another resident of the same village.

Jabour said the occupation’s goal through these orders is to expand the nearby Avigal illegal settlement.
