Hundreds of Palestinians participated on Tuesday in the funeral of three-year-old Mohammad Haitham Tamimi who succumbed to his wounds yesterday.

Tamimi was fatally shot a few days earlier in the head by Israeli soldiers in his village of Nabi Saleh, north of Ramallah.

The funeral procession started from Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, where Tamimi’s body was kept after arriving yesterday from the Israeli hospital he was admitted to following his critical injury.

Demonstrators marched through the city streets before heading to Nabi Saleh where Tamimi was laid to rest in the local cemetery.
