Israeli settlers on Monday set up tents on lands belonging to Palestinians in the village of Deir Sharaf, west of the northern occupied West Bank city of Nablus.

Local sources said Israeli settlers escorted by occupation set up makeshift tents on Palestinian land between the villages of Deir Sharaf, Sebastiya and Burqa, on the accessroad between Nablus and Tulkarm.

Israeli settlers and soldiers cracked down on Palestinian shepherds and forced them out of their lands at gunpoint.

Attacks and acts of terrorism against Palestinians by Israeli settler militias have seen a terrible rise across the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, since last week with a green light from the far-right Israeli government.

One Palestinian was killed last week and many others were injured in a savage attack by Israeli settlers on the town of Turmus Ayya, to the northeast of Ramallah.
