Two more young Palestinians were killed last night, one of them a girl, in a shooting at a house in the Arab village of Jisr al-Zarqa, in the north of Israel, according to Palestinian news agency WAFA.
The crime raises the total number of Palestinians killed among the Arab communities in Israel this year to 121.
Witnesses said the two victims were killed in a shooting attack carried out by several people after the end of a wedding party in the village.
The rise in crime in the Arab communities in Israel has prompted wide-scale protests demanding that the Israeli police end their indifference to the killings and bring them to a halt. Arab leaders in Israel accuse the police and government of complicity in the crimes in order to weaken and divide the Palestinian community in Israel.
