80 Palestinians were killed as the Israeli military struck two houses in the Nuseirat refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip.

At the time of the attack, over 60 people, mostly women and children, have been taking shelter at the houses. A number of families displaced from other areas in Gaza have sought refuge there.

The number of deaths is expected to increase in the next few hours as dozens remain trapped under the mounds of rubble.

Search operations continue to rescue trapped children and remove dead bodies.

Since October 7, Nuseirat Camp has come under relentless bombardment, resulting in horrifying deaths, suffering, and destruction.
