At least 20 Palestinians, including women and children, have been pronounced dead and dozens more injured after Israeli fighter jets struck civilian houses in Shaboura refugee camp, in Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip.

In a live footage, civil defense crews appear to make supreme efforts to retrieve the bodies of victims and save trapped children.

The attack targeted a residential apartment sheltering the Houbi family.

At the same time, dozens of civilians were killed or injured as Israeli air and ground offensives have gone unabated east and west of Gaza.

An Israeli air strike that pummeled a mosque in Al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza city has claimed the lives of at least 12 people.

Israeli fighter jets also continue to pummel civilian houses in Al-Zaytoun, Al-Shuja’iya, and Sabra, east of Gaza, resulting in deaths and injuries.

As the Israeli military has escalated its aerial and ground bombardment of the besieged Gaza Strip, tens of thousands of civilians have been without roofs over their heads, with no access to food, water, and medicine.
