43 additional Palestinians were killed in the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, bringing the total death toll since last October to 37,877, the Health Ministry in Gaza reported on Sunday.
According to the ministry's statement, Israeli attacks have resulted in injuries to at least 86,969 people.
In the past 24 hours alone, Israeli air strikes and ground attacks claimed 43 lives and injured 111 individuals in three separate incidents targeting civilian families and residential neighborhoods. Rescue efforts are hampered, leaving many trapped under debris and on roadsides.
Over eight months into the Israeli offensive on Gaza, the besieged enclave remains devastated, with widespread destruction and severe shortages of food, clean water, and medical supplies due to the blockade, despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate cease-fire.
