Ongoing Israeli military operations have claimed the lives of at least 28 Palestinians in the past 24 hours, raising the total death toll to 45,581 since October 2023, the Gaza Health Ministry reported on Thursday.

According to the ministry, an additional 108,438 people have sustained injuries during the relentless bombardment.

In its statement, the ministry highlighted two recent massacres targeting families, leaving 28 dead and 59 injured.

The destruction has left many trapped beneath rubble or stranded on roadways, as rescue teams face significant obstacles in reaching those in need.

Despite a UN Security Council resolution urging an immediate cease-fire, Israel has continued its large-scale military offensive in Gaza, launched in response to a Hamas-led assault on October 7, 2023.
