The Israeli army on Wednesday killed one more Palestinian and injured another in Rafah, the southern Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire.

A medical source told Anadolu Agency that "a martyr and a seriously wounded man" were brought to the Gaza European hospital in Khan Younis, as a result of an Israeli drone strike on a group of people in eastern Rafah city.

Eyewitnesses had told Anadolu that an Israeli drone fired a rocket on a group of people while inspecting their homes in the "Abu Halawa" area in Rafah, resulting in one man killed and another seriously wounded.

On Tuesday, the Health Ministry in Gaza said that since the ceasefire agreement took effect on Jan. 19, the Israeli army killed 92 Palestinians and injured 822 others.

An official Palestinian source also told Anadolu on Tuesday that Israel committed nearly 270 violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, especially violating its humanitarian protocol, through obstructing the entry of sheltering supplies into the war-devastated enclave and opening fire almost on a daily basis on people returning to their areas.

The ceasefire deal has been in place in Gaza since Jan. 19, halting Israel’s genocidal war that has killed over 48,200 people and left the enclave in ruins.

The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants in November last year for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
