At least 25 Palestinians were killed early Saturday morning in a fresh wave of Israeli airstrikes and shootings across the Gaza Strip, according to local and medical sources.

The attacks targeted both residential areas and civilians awaiting humanitarian aid, further deepening Gaza’s humanitarian catastrophe.

Among the dead were 13 people seeking food assistance, who were fatally shot by Israeli forces at an aid distribution point near the Netzarim Corridor in Gaza City. Their bodies were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital, which continues to struggle under the weight of Gaza’s growing civilian casualties.

Elsewhere, an Israeli airstrike struck a family home in the town of Al-Zawaida, killing five members of the same family, including three children.

In northern Khan Younis, an Israeli drone attack hit tents sheltering displaced civilians near the Industrial Junction, killing four members of a family and wounding others.

A separate strike in northwest Khan Younis killed two women when a tent was targeted.

Israel’s military offensive, launched on October 7, 2023, shows no signs of slowing. More than 60,000 Palestinians have been killed, the majority of them women and children. Entire neighborhoods lie in ruins, and food insecurity has reached catastrophic levels, with increasing reports of starvation.
