At least 11 Palestinians were killed on Tuesday in separate Israeli strikes targeting the northern and southern Gaza Strip, local medical sources reported.
In the south, doctors at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis reported receiving the bodies of six victims and several wounded after an airstrike hit a tent sheltering displaced civilians in the Al-Mawasi area.
In Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighborhood, an Israeli strike on a residential home left five dead and injured several others, medics at Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital confirmed.
Additional casualties were reported in other parts of the enclave, where Israeli shelling and airstrikes have continued to hit residential areas and displacement shelters, though exact figures were not immediately available.
The attacks are the latest in Israel’s nearly year-long military campaign in Gaza, which has drawn mounting global condemnation. According to Palestinian health authorities, almost 61,500 people have been killed since October 2023.
