At least 31 Palestinians were killed in a series of Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip on Friday morning, according to medical sources.

The deadliest strike occurred in Gaza City’s Sheikh Ridwan neighborhood, where Israeli artillery shelled a school sheltering hundreds of displaced civilians. Medics confirmed that 13 people, including women and children, lost their lives, while dozens more were wounded.

In the same neighborhood, six members of one family, among them three children, were killed when Israeli forces struck a tent for displaced people.

Elsewhere in Gaza City, an airstrike on a residential building in Shati refugee camp killed a couple and their two daughters.

In nearby Sabra, Israeli aircraft targeted civilians in the street, killing a mother and her son. Another strike on a house in the same area caused additional deaths and injuries, while heavy bombardment was reported near a medical center and a mosque. At least three deaths have so far been confirmed.

Further south, Israeli drones fired on an apartment in the Nuseirat refugee camp, killing three Palestinians and injuring five others. In Khan Younis, several displaced civilians were wounded when a water desalination plant was hit, and another strike on an abandoned house in the refugee camp left multiple casualties.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, more than 62,100 Palestinians have been killed since Israel’s assault began in October 2023. The enclave has been left in ruins, with famine and mass displacement compounding the humanitarian catastrophe.
