The death toll from Israel’s ongoing genocidal campaign against the Gaza Strip has reached at least 67,183 Palestinians since October 2023, the Health Ministry of Gaza reported on Wednesday.
In the past 24 hours alone, 10 bodies were delivered to hospitals, and 61 additional people were wounded, bringing the total number of injuries to 169,841 amid the relentless Israeli assault.
The ministry emphasized that many victims remain trapped under rubble or stranded on roads, with rescuers unable to reach them.
The ministry further highlighted that 11 Palestinians were wounded by Israeli fire while attempting to collect humanitarian aid over the same period.
Since May 27, as many as 2,613 Palestinians have been killed while seeking aid, and more than 19,164 have been injured.
Israeli military operations resumed on March 18, leading to the deaths of 13,588 people and injuries to 57,800 others, effectively breaking a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement established in January.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, charging them with war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
