At least 15 Palestinians, among them five children, have been killed in Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip since Thursday morning, Palestinian officials reported, despite an existing ceasefire agreement, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
Palestinian health authorities stated that the airstrikes struck tents housing displaced families, residential homes, and a school in multiple areas of Gaza.
In the Zeytun neighborhood of Gaza City, a warehouse and a home were hit, resulting in four deaths and several injuries.
Meanwhile, in the Mevasi area of Khan Younis, a drone strike on a tent killed four people, including a woman and two children who were siblings.
In the Jabalia Refugee Camp, one person was killed and eight others—including children—were injured when a school serving as a shelter for displaced families came under attack.
Additional casualties were reported in Beit Lahia, Deir al-Balah, and the Bureij Refugee Camp, where homes and tents were also targeted.
Israeli warplanes carried out heavy airstrikes in northwestern Gaza City and eastern Khan Younis, with some areas receiving evacuation warnings, triggering panic and further displacement.
Gaza’s Ministry of Health highlighted that, despite the ceasefire that took effect on October 10, Israeli violations have persisted. So far, 425 Palestinians have been killed and 1,206 injured in these attacks.
