At least six Palestinians, including two children and a paramedic, were killed Sunday in Israeli airstrikes targeting displaced people and civilians in the Gaza Strip, medical sources reported.

Ten others were injured in attacks on crowded areas sheltering families uprooted by ongoing military operations.

According to Al-Awda Hospital, one of the victims was Abdel Hosni Hamdouna, a paramedic with the Palestinian Ministry of Health. The injured were brought to its emergency department following the strikes.

Medical and local sources indicated that one of the airstrikes hit tents set up to shelter displaced families and was close to a field hospital.

The attack occurred roughly an hour before iftar, the sunset meal marking the end of the daily fast during Ramadan.

Another strike targeted civilians near Al-Katiba Mosque in western Gaza City.

Witnesses reported that drones carried out the strikes in areas outside Israeli troop deployment zones established under the ceasefire agreement.

The attacks mark fresh violations of the ceasefire that took effect on October 10, 2025. Since then, Israeli shelling and gunfire have killed 641 Palestinians and wounded 1,711 others.

The Israeli genocide that began on October 8, 2023 has killed more than 72,000 Palestinians, injured nearly 172,000, and destroyed approximately 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure.
